Turkish media reports have revealed that Fenerbahçe is considering the possibility of signing Moroccan international Yassine Bounou, the goalkeeper of Al Hilal Saudi, during the current summer transfer window, in anticipation of the departure of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson.

The Turkish newspaper "Fanatik" reported that Fenerbahçe's management has begun searching for potential alternatives following news of Ederson's desire to pursue a new experience, amid interest from European clubs, led by Italian Juventus, in acquiring his services.

The same source added that Bounou's name is on the list of goalkeepers being monitored by the Turkish club's management, given the outstanding performances he has delivered with Al Hilal and the Moroccan national team, especially during the 2026 World Cup, where he was one of the tournament's standout stars.

The report indicated that speculation regarding the Moroccan goalkeeper's transfer to Fenerbahçe has increased after he followed the official account of the Turkish club on social media platforms, which observers considered a sign that may strengthen the hypothesis of communication between the two parties, although it does not constitute evidence of a formal agreement.

Bounou is under contract with Al Hilal Saudi until the summer of 2027, meaning that any club wishing to sign him will need to negotiate with the Saudi team's management, which has not issued any official stance regarding the future of the Moroccan goalkeeper.
