The Egyptian Federation appreciates the presidential honor.

The Egyptian Football Association was keen to praise the honoring and reception of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the "Pharaohs' Team" after their return from participating in the World Cup currently held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Egyptian Football Association stated in a statement today, Saturday, that it extends its sincere thanks and great appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, for the warm reception and honor that the national team delegation received, in recognition of the commendable performance the team displayed during the 2026 World Cup.

It added: "The Egyptian Football Association affirms that this honor represents a badge of pride and esteem for all members of the system, and embodies the significant support that the political leadership provides to Egyptian sports, giving everyone a strong motivation to continue working hard to achieve more accomplishments and raise Egypt's name high in various continental and international forums."

It confirmed: "The association extends its sincere thanks to the President of the Republic for his supportive words and the great trust he has placed in the coaching staff and players, which will serve as an incentive to double the effort during the upcoming phase and continue building a strong national team capable of fulfilling the aspirations of the Egyptian fans."
