The army faces Wydad in the Throne Cup.
The Royal Army Club secured their passage to the Round of 16 of the Throne Cup after defeating Stade Marocain 2-1 this Wednesday evening, in a match postponed from the Round of 32, held at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
Stade Marocain was the first to score through Imad Atif Allah in the 41st minute, before Reda Slim equalized for the Royal Army Club with a penalty in stoppage time of the first half (45+7). The same player then gave his team the qualification ticket by scoring the second goal from another penalty in the 88th minute.
The Royal Army Club will face Wydad Athletic Club in the Round of 16, after the latter secured their spot in this round following a 2-0 victory over Raja Beni Mellal.
