Nabi begins the renewal of Raja Casablanca.
Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi, of Raja Club Athletic, has started working on preparations for the upcoming season, immediately after the current season came to a close, following the decision of the National Professional Football League to postpone the Cup of the Throne competitions.
Informed sources confirmed to "Hesport" that Nabi submitted his final report to the management board, headed by Jawad Ziyat, right after the last match against Olympique Safi. The report included a comprehensive evaluation of the team's performance, along with a list of players who are no longer part of his technical plans for the next season.
The same sources emphasized that the technical staff, in coordination with the management, has already begun taking steps to restructure the squad by working on ending the contracts of several players, either through mutual termination or loaning them out, in order to create financial and technical flexibility for acquiring new players.
They also pointed out that there is a strong conviction within the club about the necessity of making extensive changes to the squad, especially in the attacking line and midfield, in line with the technical vision that Nabi aims to implement during the upcoming season, whether in local or continental competitions.
The sources highlighted that the postponement of the Cup of the Throne has given the technical staff and management an additional opportunity to carefully study the files of proposed players and select those who fit the team's playing style, avoiding any hasty signings.
The same sources reported that contrary to what has been circulated in recent days, there is currently no official agreement or signing with any player; the club continues to review resumes and proposals received, while scrutinizing the financial aspects of contracts to avoid any commitments that could lead to future disputes.
The sources concluded by confirming that Raja is heading towards a hot summer in terms of signings and departures, as part of a project aimed at building a more competitive team capable of regaining its position at the forefront in the upcoming season.
