National coach Jamal Salami sent an emotional farewell message to the fans and officials in Jordan through his official Instagram account, following the end of his coaching journey with the Jordanian national team.
Salami expressed his deep appreciation for the warm welcome and trust from the people of Amman since his arrival, affirming that this feeling will always remain with him as he lived in his second home.
Salami recalled the historic and challenging moments he experienced with the Jordanian national team, highlighting that the most significant was achieving the historic dream of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup for the first time in Jordanian football history, reaching the Arab Cup final in Qatar, and participating in the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. He explained that the true story was embodied in determination, teamwork, and the spirit of the Nashama.
The Moroccan coach confirmed that the current moment is not easy at all, but his heart will always be connected to Jordan. He extended his sincere thanks to the leadership, fans, players, and the technical, administrative, and medical staff. He also expressed special gratitude and appreciation to Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordanian Football Association, for his trust and great support throughout this exceptional journey, wishing the national team success and continued development.
