"The Black" to Boston in preparation for France.
The Moroccan national team departed on Sunday on a special flight from Houston, Texas, to Boston, in preparation for their match against the French team next Thursday in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
Prior to their travel, the "Atlas Lions" squad held a light training session at their accommodation, organized by national coach Mohammed Wahbi to alleviate fatigue and regain physical freshness, following their victory over the Canadian team and securing a spot in the quarter-finals.
Mohammed Wahbi has set up a special training program for the upcoming match against France, which includes three training sessions in Boston to complete the technical and physical preparations before Thursday's match.
Regarding the health status of the national players, no information has been disclosed about the impact of the injuries sustained by the duo Ismail Sabari and Aissa Diop during the Canada match on their readiness for next Thursday's game.
Meanwhile, defender Shadi Riyad continues to follow his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff, aiming to be fully fit for the match against France to secure the Moroccan team's backline.
The match between the Moroccan team and their French counterparts will take place next Thursday starting at 9 PM, as part of the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
