Fes Morocco won the title of the professional national championship "Inwi" in football, after defeating Olympic Dcheira by two goals to none today, Sunday, in the thirtieth and final round, which also decided the battle to avoid relegation, as Yacoub Mansour Union accompanied Olympic Safi to the second division.
Fes Morocco raised its tally to 59 points at the top of the standings, after a fierce battle that extended to the final round, while Olympic Dcheira's tally remained at 30 points.
On its part, Nahdat Berkane finished the season in second place with 57 points, after winning away against Hassania Agadir by three goals to one, while the Agadir team remained at 40 points in sixth place.
As for Raja Casablanca, it concluded the season in third place with 56 points, after defeating Olympic Safi by two goals to none, while the Safi team remained in last place with 22 points, thus leaving the elite division.
The Royal Army dropped to fourth place with 55 points, after drawing 0-0 against Nahdat Zemamra, in a match whose result was not enough for the military team to participate in African competitions.
Fes Morocco and Nahdat Berkane, the first and second place holders, secured participation in the African Champions League, while Raja Casablanca booked a spot in the African Confederation Cup.
In fifth place, Wydad Casablanca finished the season with 43 points, after losing to Union Touarga by two goals to one, a result that allowed the Touarga team to raise its tally to 31 points and finish the season in thirteenth place.
With this victory, Union Touarga will play a playoff match to maintain its place in the first division, while Olympic Dcheira, in fourteenth place, will also play a playoff match after finishing the season with 30 points.
