The brother of Al-Saybari condemns the harassment of influencers.
Akram Al-Saybari, the brother of Moroccan international player Ismail Al-Saybari, directed a message of criticism towards some influencers who attend the national team's matches for the 2026 World Cup, calling for respect for the privacy of players' families and not crossing boundaries in dealing with them in the stands.
Al-Saybari stated in a post he shared on his personal Instagram account that he could not fully enjoy the celebratory atmosphere that accompanied the national team's victory, explaining that some behaviors directed at the players' family members disturbed him and made it impossible for him to ignore what happened.
He confirmed that most influencers do not intend to offend, and their presence is driven by enthusiasm and love for the team; however, he emphasized the need to respect the personal space of players' families and not to treat them as part of the scene meant for taking photos or creating content.
Akram Al-Saybari clarified that talking or exchanging greetings with players' families does not pose any problem, provided it is done in a respectful manner, urging to avoid touching mothers, hugging them, kissing them, or putting phones in their faces to take pictures or record clips.
He added that players' families, especially mothers, are married women, some of whom are older, attending the stadiums to support their children and enjoy the matches, not to become the focus of attention for the public or influencers, considering that respecting privacy remains essential in such occasions.
The brother of the "Moroccan Lion" concluded his message by affirming that his remarks are not intended to provoke controversy or attack any party, but rather a call to respect personal boundaries, questioning whether anyone would accept their family members being subjected to similar situations by strangers.
