Al-Jabari signs a two-season contract with Cordoba.
Córdoba Club, belonging to the Spanish second division, announced on Saturday its signing of Moroccan international Selim Jabari, coming from Atlético Madrid, on a contract that extends for two seasons.
The Andalusian club clarified in a statement that it has signed the 22-year-old Moroccan forward, who graduated from Atlético Madrid's youth academy and is considered one of the most prominent young talents at the Madrid club.
Jabari played his first matches in La Liga with Atlético Madrid's first team during the 2023-2024 season at the age of nineteen, before continuing his development with the reserve team, where he excelled by scoring four goals in 32 matches in the Spanish third division.
After an initial loan period to FC Cartagena during the second half of the 2024-2025 season, the Moroccan international last season wore the colors of CD Mirandés, where he played 35 matches and scored one goal in the Spanish second division.
Córdoba Club confirmed that the signing of Selim Jabari is part of its strategy to strengthen its attacking line in preparation for the new season, relying on the player's speed, technical quality, and great potential for development.
