The national team continues to prepare for the match against Canada.
The Moroccan national team held its second training session today, Thursday, on the pitch of the "Compass" stadium in Houston, USA, in preparation for the match against the Canadian team next Saturday, as part of the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
This training session saw the participation of all players normally, except for defender Shadi Riyad, who continues to follow a special rehabilitation program with the medical staff after the minor injury he sustained in the last match against the Netherlands.
Sources from "Hesport" confirmed that Shadi Riyad's condition is not a cause for concern, noting that he will be available for national coach Mohamed Wahbi in the match against Canada, despite missing the last two collective training sessions.
The Moroccan national team will conclude its preparations with the final training session tomorrow, Friday, knowing that the match against Canada will take place on Saturday at the Houston stadium, starting at six o'clock in the evening Moroccan time.
