Olympic Safi leaves the professional league.
The excitement in the professional football championship has increased following the matches of the 29th round, which saw thrilling results that turned the tables on the standings and the positions qualifying for continental competitions, while also complicating the situation for teams threatened with relegation.
At the top, FUS Rabat maintained its lead in the standings with 56 points, despite drawing 0-0 against Kawkab Marrakech, benefiting from the loss of the Royal Army against MC Meknes with a score of (3-2), leaving the military team's points frozen at 54 in second place.
RS Berkane took advantage of the Army's stumble to equalize its points total (54), after a well-deserved victory over Wydad Casablanca with two goals to nil, in a match where the orange team imposed its superiority and was more determined to achieve victory, in contrast to the lackluster performance of the red team, which struggled on both technical and offensive levels.
For its part, Raja Casablanca continued to chase the leading teams, after overcoming Hassania Agadir with two goals to nil, raising its points to 53 and keeping its hopes alive before the final round.
In other results, Ittihad Yacoub Al-Mansour drew with Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi (2-2), Nahdat Zemamra with Al-Fath (1-1), and Olympique Dcheira with Olympique Safi (1-1), while Ittihad Tawraka defeated Ittihad Tangier with a score of one goal to nil.
After the conclusion of the 29th round, FUS Rabat tops the standings with 56 points, ahead of the Royal Army and RS Berkane (54 points each), followed by Raja Casablanca (53 points), and Wydad Casablanca (43 points).
At the bottom of the standings, Olympique Safi's relegation to the second national division was confirmed as it remained in last place with 22 points, while Ittihad Yacoub Al-Mansour occupies the fifteenth position with 27 points, while Olympique Dcheira and Ittihad Tawraka hold the positions to play in the relegation playoffs with 30 and 28 points respectively, awaiting the final decision during the last round.
