A tough victory for Raja against Hassania Agadir.
The Raja Club Athletic achieved a hard-fought victory over their guest Hassania Agadir with a score of two goals to none today, at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, as part of the 29th round of the professional football league.
The first half began with a back-and-forth battle between the two sides, as the "Eagles" sought to advance further in the standings, while the Souss team hoped to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
Despite the open style of play between Raja and Hassania Agadir, haste and a lack of offensive efficiency were the most notable features of the first half of the match.
The start of the second half was similar to the beginning of the first, as both sides initiated attacks in hopes of scoring an early goal.
The attempts by Raja and Hassania Agadir did not yield any goals in the early minutes, despite the opportunities that arose for both teams.
In the 79th minute, Ayoub El Maloud ended the goal drought by scoring the first goal from the penalty spot.
Young player Yahya Ighiz added the second goal for the "Green" team with a beautiful header, securing the match for Raja Club Athletic with a clean two-goal victory.
With this win, Raja Club Athletic raised their tally to 53 points in fourth place, while Hassania Agadir remained at 32 points in twelfth place.
