The Greek club Volos announced today the official signing of Moroccan left-back Hamza Mendil (28 years old) on a free transfer, following the end of his stint with Aris Thessaloniki.
The club clarified that Mendil successfully passed the medical and physical examinations before signing his new contract with Volos, and he will join the team's training sessions starting next Monday.
Hamza Mendil had defended the colors of Aris Thessaloniki for a season and a half, during which he played 26 matches, scored one goal, and provided three assists.
The Moroccan international has previously played for the Belgian club Leuven, the German club Schalke, the Turkish club Gaziantep, the French club Dijon, and the French club Lille.
On the international level, Hamza Mendil has played 20 matches wearing the Moroccan national team jersey.
