"Belgium's Devils" return from "hell" and turn the tables on Senegal with a three-goal victory.
Belgium made a comeback from behind and turned the tables on Senegal, transforming a two-goal deficit into a 3-2 victory after extra time, reaching the Round of 16 of the North American World Cup on Wednesday at Lumen Field in Seattle in the Round of 32.
Senegal was on its way to an easy victory when it took a two-goal lead with goals from Habib Diallo (25) and Ismaïla Sarr (51), but the "Red Devils" rallied in the final minutes, responding with two goals from substitute Romelu Lukaku (86) and captain Youri Tielemans (89), before Tielemans himself won a penalty in stoppage time and converted it to score the winning goal (120+5).
Belgium will face either the United States or Bosnia and Herzegovina in the next round next Monday in Seattle, with the two teams set to meet later in San Francisco.
