Saibari (25 years old) is currently one of Morocco's standout players as he progresses towards the Round of 16 in the World Cup being held in North America, having become the first African player to score in all three group stage matches.
Eindhoven also announced that the duration of the deal is five years and represents a "record transfer" for the Dutch club.
Media reports indicated that the transfer fee for Saibari, who has scored 12 goals in 34 international matches for Morocco, reached 50 million euros (about 57 million dollars).
Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, stated: "Deals like this do not happen randomly; they are the result of foresight: it was essential for us to act early because we knew Ismael's capabilities, and we were able to present a clear vision for him with us from the start."
The German champions quoted Saibari, who was born in Spain, saying, "Even in your childhood, you dream of signing with a club like Bayern Munich; everyone knows it is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Bayern Munich competes every year for the most important titles, like the Champions League, and I want to win as many titles as possible here."
Saibari, who has represented Eindhoven since 2023 and scored 42 goals in 142 matches with 29 assists, also mentioned the role played by Bayern's Belgian coach Vincent Kompany in his decision: "Bayern Munich's style suits me; I can give my best here, and I will work hard every day to help the team. Coach Vincent Kompany played a significant role in my decision; I am really looking forward to working with him."
Saibari began his football career with the club Terrassa, the city where he was born in the Barcelona region, before moving with his family to Belgium at the age of six, where he progressed through the youth teams of Beerschot, Anderlecht, Mechelen, and Genk, before settling in Eindhoven in 2020, where he unleashed his talent with the Dutch team.
He has shown promising skills honed through a lot of effort, and he currently represents one of the important tactical solutions and strong pillars in the technical management's options for the Moroccan national team.
