"Royal Air Maroc" launches "Canada Match" flights.
Royal Air Maroc announced the launch of a new phase in a series of measures aimed at encouraging Moroccan fans to travel to the United States to attend the Round of 16 match of the 2026 World Cup, where the Moroccan national team will face its Canadian counterpart.
The company revealed, in a statement received by Hespress, that it has scheduled 12 exceptional flights from Casablanca to Houston, with a capacity exceeding 3,000 seats, in a short and record time, at a fixed price not exceeding 10,000 dirhams, including fees, for round-trip economy class. It clarified that this offer is non-changeable and non-refundable, and comes as part of facilitating the travel of Moroccan fans in the best conditions of safety and comfort, marking a first of its kind, as Royal Air Maroc records its inaugural flights to Houston on this occasion.
This step falls within the national and sports commitment of Royal Air Maroc to stand by the "Atlas Lions," by facilitating the travel of fans and enabling them to attend the global football celebration, especially after the remarkable success achieved by the national team in defeating the Dutch team and qualifying for the Round of 16 of the World Cup.
The national company reiterated its commitment to mobilizing all its technical and human resources, by establishing a new air bridge to enable Moroccan fans to support the "Atlas Lions" during the anticipated match next Saturday against the Canadian team.
Royal Air Maroc confirmed, as the official carrier of the national team, its full support wherever they go, seizing this opportunity to extend warmest congratulations to all its members following their victory over the Dutch team, and reaffirming that "the national team has risen to the ranks of the great nations in the football field, carrying the hopes and aspirations of the Moroccan people."
The company noted, at the end of its statement, that tickets for these flights will be available for sale starting at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, through the commercial agencies of Royal Air Maroc in Morocco, as well as through the online portal: https://golions.royalairmaroc.com.
