Haaland leads Norway to the Round of 16 with a last-minute goal against Ivory Coast.
Norway has scheduled a match against Brazil in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, after advancing past the knockout stage for the first time in its fourth participation, following a 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast on Tuesday in the Round of 32.
Norway maintained its lead with a goal from Antonio Nusa (39) until the 74th minute when substitute Amad Diallo equalized, before the scorer Erling Haaland secured the win for his national team (86).
Norway, which returned to the finals for the first time in 28 years, will play against Brazil, which defeated Japan 2-1, on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
