"Boys of basketball" are competing in Tunisia.
The Moroccan national basketball team - Youth (under 18) began its participation in the 23rd edition of the Arab Championship for this category, which kicked off on Saturday in Sfax, Tunisia, with a loss to the Egyptian team and a victory in its second match against the Libyan team.
In the matches on the first day, the Egyptian team defeated the "Youth Basketball" team with a score of 84-41; while Tunisia triumphed over Libya (61-50), and Bahrain beat Algeria (60-51).
The competition on its second day saw a victory for the Moroccan team against the Libyan team (78-40), a win for Egypt over Algeria (80-47), and a defeat for Tunisia against Bahrain (66-78).
The Arab Championship for Youth basketball will continue until July 4 at the Bejaoui Hall in Sfax, featuring a single group tournament with the participation of teams from Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, and Bahrain.
As for the Arab Championship for Youth, which features only three teams: Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, Saturday saw the Moroccan team win against the Algerian team with a score of (66-59); while the Tunisian team won against the Algerian team on Sunday with a score of (68-45).
