Raja draws... and Wydad loses in Casablanca.
The matches of the twenty-eighth round of the professional league resulted in exciting fluctuations in the battle for positions, as the Casablanca giants Raja and Wydad stumbled in two matches characterized by competitiveness and surprises; this directly affected their standings on the overall ranking board.
In the first match that took place this Sunday evening, the positive draw of one goal each decided the clash between Raja Casablanca and its host Ittihad Tanger at the Grand Stadium in Tangier.
The green team was the first to score through defender Abdullah Khafifi from a penalty in the 44th minute, before suffering a painful blow with the expulsion of captain Badr Banoun in the 67th minute with a red card.
The Knights of the Bay exploited this numerical disadvantage to intensify their attacks, successfully snatching the equalizing goal in the dying moments through Bilal Al-Wadghiri in the 90+2 minute.
On the pitch of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, Olympique de Dcheira caused a huge surprise by defeating their host Wydad Casablanca with three goals to one.
