Amouta starts working from outside Cairo.
The national coach Hussein Amouta, the new coach of the Egyptian Al Ahly football club, has started his work with the "Red Team" before his scheduled arrival in Cairo on the fourth or fifth of July, in preparation for his official presentation to the media.
"Hesport" learned from an informed source that Amouta began his tasks by reviewing the team's roster and the names he will rely on during the upcoming season, along with the players he will give the green light to leave during the summer transfer period.
The same source clarified that Amouta postponed the decision regarding the future of some players until the start of the team's next training camp; among them are the Moroccan trio Youssef Belaili, Achraf Dari, and Achraf Bencharki.
"Hesport" added that Amouta has also decided on the identity of his assistant coaching staff, as the newspaper reported a few days ago; however, they are awaiting the official signing of contracts in the coming hours.
Egyptian media reported that Amouta's agent returned to Morocco on Sunday after overseeing all the arrangements that the coach will need upon his arrival in Cairo, including booking a luxurious villa in one of the upscale neighborhoods of the Egyptian capital, owned by Yassin Mansour, the vice president of Al Ahly, after he chose it from among five other villas that were offered to him.
The agent also booked other neighboring villas for the assistant coaching staff, in addition to providing the cars they will need during their stay in Egypt. He also completed the administrative arrangements for Amouta and his assistant staff with the club's management.
Amouta's first work program will be to study the summer transfer file, along with evaluating the players likely to leave the team, with the aim of building a squad capable of competing on various local and continental fronts during the upcoming season.
The Al Ahly management relies on Amouta's experience and successful coaching career to lead a new phase within the club and to achieve the aspirations of the fans who seek to continue winning titles and enhancing the team's continental presence.
