Bart Verbruggen, the goalkeeper of the Dutch national team, confirmed that his team enters the knockout stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with great confidence, but he emphasized that facing Morocco in the Round of 32 will be difficult.

Verbruggen said after the match, "We scored 10 goals, we haven't suffered any defeats, and we topped the group, which gives us a lot of confidence. But I also believe that we have more to offer."
He added that the Dutch team will focus entirely on the match against Morocco, saying, "Morocco is a very strong team and will be a tough opponent, so we are only thinking about this match and not looking beyond it."
Verbruggen praised the performance of the Tunisian team, confirming that they made it a complicated match for the Netherlands, saying, "We had to force them out of their defensive areas to create more space for ourselves."
