The Moroccan player Talai signs with "Ajax".
The Dutch football club Ajax Amsterdam announced yesterday, Tuesday, that the Moroccan international under-17 player Imran Talai has signed his first professional contract with the club.
Ajax explained in a statement that the 17-year-old midfielder signed a contract that extends until June 30, 2029, with the club he has been part of since its youth academy in 2016.
Imran Talai was born in Amsterdam and has progressed through various age categories at Ajax, having played last season with the under-17 team, and he will join the under-19 team starting next season.
Ajax's director of football, Marc Overmars, praised the young Moroccan player's qualities, describing him as "a technical midfielder with excellent ball control and a strong left foot."
Overmars added that the young Moroccan talent also possesses good game vision and the ability to create space, as well as important physical attributes, which provide him with the potential to develop and advance to professional football.
Imran Talai participated with the Moroccan national team in the latest edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, where he scored two goals in two matches.
