Bourita and Al-Safadi are discussing in Jordan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, held discussions today, Tuesday, in the capital Amman, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.
During these talks, Bourita and Safadi discussed ways to enhance mechanisms for cooperation and joint coordination between Morocco and Jordan, emphasizing the two countries' commitment to developing their relations in various fields and elevating them to broader horizons.
In this context, the two ministers discussed preparations for holding the sixth session of the Jordanian-Moroccan Joint Higher Committee before the end of the current year, and they emphasized the importance of preparing for its meetings, which would contribute to strengthening strategic relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The officials praised the dynamism witnessed in the longstanding relations between the two brotherly countries, which King Mohammed VI and his brother King Abdullah II have elevated to the level of a multidimensional strategic partnership.
On another note, the two sides reviewed the regional developments affecting the area and the importance of enhancing consultation and coordination on various issues, contributing to achieving security, stability, and development.
The discussions were attended by Morocco's Ambassador to Jordan, Fouad Akhrif, Morocco's Ambassador to Egypt and the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Mohamed Ait Ali, and the Director of Maghreb, Arab, and Islamic Affairs at the ministry, Khaled Ben Sheikh.
Bourita participated yesterday in Amman in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers and the meeting of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level in its resumed 165th ordinary session.
