Training sessions for the Moroccan national team in Atlanta.
The Moroccan national football team continues its preparations for the upcoming match against Haiti, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, as part of the third and final round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, after holding its first training session on Monday in Atlanta, USA.
This training session came after the "Atlas Lions" delegation arrived in Atlanta from New Jersey on a private flight, marking the first of two scheduled training sessions before the anticipated match against the Haitian team.
The training session took place in a positive atmosphere with great enthusiasm within the group, given the high morale prevailing in the Moroccan camp after a good start in the global competition, which has boosted the national team's chances of advancing to the next round while continuing to compete for the top spot in Group C.
The technical staff, led by Mohamed Wahbi, focused during this session on physical and technical aspects, aiming to maintain the players' readiness and correct some details before the final match in the group stage.
The top spot in the group is of great importance to the national team, as it will grant them a match against the second-placed team from Group F in the Round of 32, which includes the Netherlands, Sweden, Japan, and Tunisia, with the match scheduled for June 29 in Houston, USA.
If they finish the first round in second place, the "Atlas Lions" will face the leader of Group F in the Round of 32, in a match scheduled for June 30 in Monterrey, Mexico.
The Moroccan team hopes to continue its positive results in the upcoming match and secure a top spot, allowing them to proceed in the best possible conditions during the knockout stages of the World Cup.
