Benshrifah resigns from coaching Wydad.
The national coach Hamouda Bencherifa decided to end his mission at the head of the technical staff of Wydad Athletic Club, after he submitted his resignation to the club's management this Monday morning.
Bencherifa's resignation came after the "red" team suffered a defeat yesterday, Sunday, against Hassania Agadir with a score of one goal to none, in the 26th round of the professional league.
"Hesport" learned from informed sources that Bencherifa chose to leave his position due to the lack of conditions that would allow him to work in the manner he aspires to, in addition to his dissatisfaction with several matters within the team's environment, which he believes negatively affect the group's performance and results.
Bencherifa had taken over the leadership of Wydad following French coach Patrice Carteron, but his experience lasted less than two months.
During his time overseeing Wydad, Bencherifa led the team in 9 matches across various competitions, including 8 matches in the professional league and one match in the King's Cup, achieving five victories against four defeats.
