The conflict is intensifying in the Moroccan championship.. the lead is held by the army and the second place by Berkane.
The Army Club strengthened its position at the top of the professional championship after today's match on Sunday, overcoming its guest, the Marrakech Club, with a score of two goals to nil in the match held at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
Rida Slim opened the scoring for the military team with a penalty in the 56th minute, before Khaled Ait Orkhan missed a second penalty for the Royal Army in the 90+1 minute.
In stoppage time, specifically in the 90+5 minute, Ashraf Miso succeeded in securing the victory by scoring the second goal.
This victory allowed the Royal Army to take sole possession of the top spot with 52 points, benefiting from the fall of Maghreb Fez against Renaissance Berkane, while Raja Casablanca remained in third place with 49 points, trailing behind in direct confrontations, and the Marrakech Club's tally remained at 30 points in tenth place.
Renaissance Berkane returned with a valuable victory from the Grand Fez Stadium against Maghreb Fez, winning two goals to one, rising to second place with 50 points.
The goals for the Berkane team were scored by Paul Bacin in the second minute and Youssef Mehyri in the 35th minute, while Sofiane Benjida scored the goal for Maghreb Fez in the 14th minute.
Raja Casablanca continued to apply pressure on the leading teams with its victory over the Meknes Club, winning two goals to one at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
The goals for the "Green Team" were scored by Ayman Barqouq and Bab Sakho, raising their tally to 49 points in third place, ahead of Maghreb Fez on direct confrontations.
Al-Hassani Difa achieved an important victory over Wydad Casablanca with a score of one goal to nil at Al-Abdi Stadium in El Jadida. The only goal was scored by Osama Ben Shaoui in the 27th minute, raising the new team’s tally to 35 points in seventh place, while Wydad's tally remained at 43 points in fifth place.
