Guideline for the Moroccan community in Atlanta
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Washington has launched a guide aimed at Moroccan fans heading to Atlanta to support the national team in their match against Haiti on Wednesday, June 24, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with the goal of facilitating the movement of fans and ensuring a smooth experience for them.
The guide includes directions for travelers through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to utilize the designated information desk for Moroccans, located near the "FIFA" office, to obtain essential travel information.
Regarding the means of reaching the stadium, the guide explains how to use the subway directly from the airport via the red line to "Five Points" station, then transfer to the green line and get off at "Vine City" station, which is just a few minutes away from the stadium.
The guide also reviewed public transportation options in the city, noting that the fare for a single trip is $2.50, with the possibility of using the "MARTA 36" line, in addition to a daily ticket priced at $9 that provides fans with greater flexibility in moving around.
The embassy urged fans to book smart transportation and taxis in advance to avoid the expected traffic congestion on match day.
The guide concluded by mentioning the establishment of a consular information desk at the Georgia World Congress Center to provide the necessary support and assistance to Moroccan fans, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for the "Atlas Lions" at this event.
