Germany turned the tables on Ivory Coast thanks to a brace from substitute Deniz Ündav, winning 2-1, and reached the Round of 32 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Saturday in the second round of the group stage in Group E.
Germany fell behind with a goal from Franck Kessié (30), but Ündav equalized just eight minutes after coming on (68) and scored the winner in stoppage time (90+4).
The "Mannschaft" increased their points tally to six, and they can secure the top spot in the group if Ecuador does not win against Curaçao later.
