Brazil achieves its first victory in the World Cup.

The Brazilian national team achieved its first victory in the current edition of the "2026" FIFA World Cup, defeating Haiti 3-0.

Matheus Cunha, a forward for Manchester United, scored two goals in the 24th and 36th minutes, and Vinicius Junior, a player for Real Madrid, netted a third goal in the third minute of stoppage time in the second half.

This victory raised Brazil's points to 4 at the top of Group C, ahead of the Moroccan team on goal difference, which had earlier won against Scotland 1-0.

Meanwhile, the Haitian team remains at the bottom of the group standings with no points, and this defeat dashed all hopes for Haiti to qualify for the Round of 32.

The Brazilian team imposed a significant advantage, especially in the first half, creating several scoring opportunities against Haiti's goal.

The attempts to score continued until they were translated into the first goal by Matheus Cunha, who followed up on a ball that rebounded off the goalkeeper after a shot from Vinicius in the 24th minute.

Cunha returned to score a second goal in the 36th minute after receiving a pass from Vinicius, maintaining Brazil's dominance.

With a weak defense, Brazil continued its superiority to score the third goal, from a long pass sent by midfielder Lucas Paquetá to Vinicius, who broke free and scored with a low shot into the net as the goalkeeper came out.

Despite the significant advantage in the first half and the potential for an increased score, Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti kept his players unchanged until the 64th minute, when he finally decided to give Endrick a chance to replace Matheus Cunha.

Arsenal player Gabriel Martinelli also came on for Lucas Paquetá, and in the final minutes, Ancelotti brought on Ederson and Danilo in place of Bruno Guimarães and Vinicius.

This defeat dashed all hopes for Haiti to qualify for the Round of 32, as a victory over Morocco in the final round would not be beneficial, especially since the direct encounters with the Scottish team, which also has 3 points, are not in their favor due to the 0-1 loss in the first round.
