The matches on Wednesday, part of the 25th round of the professional league, resulted in significant outcomes on the standings board, most notably the victory of Ittihad Tangier over Kawkab Marrakech, and the rise of Maghreb Fes to the top of the league following a thrilling win against Hassania Agadir, alongside Ittihad Tawraka's triumph over the Meknes club.
On the pitch of the Grand Stadium in Marrakech, Ittihad Tangier achieved a valuable victory with two goals to none against Kawkab Marrakech, scored by Siriki Sanogo in the 43rd minute and Bilal Al-Wadghiri in the 63rd minute, while the home team finished the match with ten players after Hamza Samali was sent off in the 84th minute.
At the Grand Stadium in Fes, Maghreb Fes turned around their deficit against Hassania Agadir to a thrilling victory with two goals to one.
The Dakkali team was the first to score through Ibrahim Bouzidi in the 16th minute, before suffering a painful blow with the red card shown to Youssef Machat in the 38th minute.
The "MASS" took advantage of the numerical disadvantage to equalize through Hamza Afsal in the 49th minute, before Sofiane Benjida snatched the winning goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time (90+7).
Meanwhile, at the city stadium in Rabat, Ittihad Tawraka secured their match against the Meknes club with two goals to none, scored by Samuel Tibilly and Younes Dahmani, in a match that saw the red card of "KODIM" player Zouhair Al-Dib during stoppage time of the first half.
Following these results, Maghreb Fes temporarily rose to the top of the standings with 49 points, while Ittihad Tangier advanced to sixth place with 32 points, the same total that Hassania Agadir remained at in seventh place temporarily, while the Meknes club stayed in eighth place with 31 points.
This ranking remains temporary pending the completion of the 25th round with the remaining four matches scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, which may bring new changes at the top positions.
