Details of the negotiations between Amouta and Al Ahly.
Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta is preparing to start his duties as the coach of the Egyptian Al Ahly football club, after signing a two-year contract with the team, as announced two days ago, following marathon negotiations between the two parties that lasted for months.
Regarding the details of the negotiations, "Hesport" learned from an informed source that the Cairo club opened communication with Amouta since last January, through board member Khaled Mortagy, the architect of the deal.
The same source explained that the mentioned Al Ahly member traveled to Morocco on three occasions to meet with Amouta, starting from January, then in May, before finally convincing the Moroccan coach in the last meeting in Morocco this June.
A source from "Hesport" confirmed that Amouta will receive a monthly salary of 220,000 dollars along with his entire coaching staff, in addition to bonuses for victories in important matches and winning titles.
The informed source indicated that Hussein Amouta's staff consists of a first assistant coach of Moroccan nationality, a second assistant coach of Portuguese nationality, a Brazilian fitness coach, and a French video analyst.
Amouta is expected to begin his duties in the coming days in preparation for local and continental competitions, amid the hopes of Al Ahly fans for positive results and competition for various titles.
