An Uzbek will officiate the match between Morocco and Scotland.
The referees' committee of the International Football Federation has revealed the officiating crew that will lead the match between the Moroccan national team and its Scottish counterpart, as part of the second round of Group C in the 2026 World Cup.
The task of the match officials in this encounter has been assigned to Uzbek referee Ilghiz Tantashiev as the central referee, with his compatriots Andrei Tsabienko as the first assistant and Timur Gainulin as the second assistant.
Notably, there is a Jordanian presence in the substitute crew, as Adham Mkhadmeh has been chosen as the fourth official for the match, while his compatriot Mohammed Al-Khalaf will serve as the reserve assistant referee.
It is worth mentioning that the "Atlas Lions" test against the Scotland national team will take place next Friday, with the match set to kick off at 11 PM Moroccan time (GMT+1).
