Saudi Arabia secured a valuable point against Uruguay with a 1-1 draw on Monday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, as part of Group H in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia took the lead with a goal from Ali Al-Amri (41), and Uruguay equalized through Maxi Araujo (80) in a match where the green team's goalkeeper, Mohammed Al-Owais, shone with nine fantastic saves.
The "Green" will play their second match in Atlanta against Spain, who were shocked by a draw with Cape Verde, before facing the latter in their third match in Houston.
