Egypt secures a deserved point from Belgium.

The Egyptian national team surprised the strong Belgium team and earned a deserved point by drawing 1-1 on Monday in Seattle, in the opening of their journey in the 2026 World Cup in football.
The Egyptians took the lead for about 45 minutes through Imam Ashour, before an own goal in the middle of the second half denied them their first victory in the history of their World Cup participations.
