Appointment of Amouta as coach of Al Ahly Egypt.
The Egyptian Al Ahly Club announced today the approval of the new structure for the football sector during a board meeting chaired by Mahmoud El Khatib, the club's president, as part of the preparations for the upcoming sports season.
Al Ahly clarified in an official statement that the board approved the proposal presented by Yassin Mansour, the club's vice president, and Sayed Abdel Hafiz, a board member and the delegate for the football file, regarding the reorganization of the sector and the enhancement of its various components.
The meeting also saw the approval of the contract with Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta to lead the first team, with a contract extending for two seasons, succeeding the previous coach, in a move that reflects the club management's desire to benefit from the extensive experience that the Moroccan coach has accumulated at both the Arab and continental levels.
Amouta is expected to begin his duties in the coming days, in preparation for the local and continental challenges, amid the hopes of Al Ahly fans to achieve positive results and compete for various titles.
