The Fes club won the Throne Cup in basketball after an 18-year absence, following their victory over the Fath Sport Club with a score of 69 to 64, in the final match held yesterday, Sunday, at the Enbaath Hall in Agadir.
The match was highly competitive and exciting between the two sides, with Fath Sport Club finishing the first half ahead with a score of 33 to 30, before the players of the Fes club managed to turn the tables in the final seconds of the game; thus, the team secured its eighth title in the history of the competition, just a few days after topping the National Premier League.
Fes had secured its place in the final scene after defeating Ittihad Tangier in the semifinals, while Fath Sport Club advanced at the expense of the Meknes club, which exited the premier league competition.
In the women's competitions, the Marrakech club managed to win the Throne Cup title after defeating Majd Tangier in the final match.
