The Ivory Coast national team achieved victory in the final minutes against Ecuador with a score of 1-0 today, Monday, in the first round of Group E of the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
Amad Diallo scored the only goal of the match in the last minute of the second half, giving the Ivory Coast national team three valuable points at the start of their campaign in the tournament.
Group E also includes the teams of Germany and Curacao, and their match ended with a crushing victory for the German team with a score of 7-1.
