Wahbi brings the national team players back to training.
The day after their precious draw against Brazil (1-1) in their first match during the 2026 World Cup, the "Atlas Lions" resumed their training today, Sunday, in a positive atmosphere characterized by seriousness and commitment.
As is customary after major matches, the players who participated in most of the game against the "Seleção" were excused to expedite the recovery process and alleviate fatigue before resuming the remaining stages of the competition.
On the training grounds, the substitutes and players who did not get much playing time participated in exercises led by the technical staff; the training session's program was divided between ball possession and the implementation of some tactical plans, in addition to physical exercises aimed at maintaining the rhythm of competition.
While the bodies are still striving to rid themselves of the effects of the physical effort exerted in the match against Brazil, the minds are looking forward to the next appointment, when Morocco will face Scotland on June 19 in Boston for the second round of Group C; a match that holds great importance in determining the qualification race for the next round.
The "Atlas Lions," who have one point from their draw with one of the main contenders for the title, will approach this second match with a mix of confidence and caution.
