Moroccan athletics in Tunisia
Ten Moroccan athletes will participate in the 20th edition of the Tunis International Para Athletics Meeting (for people with disabilities), which will take place from June 16 to 19 at the athletics stadium in Rades (suburb of Tunis).
Ayman Al-Haddawi will compete in the 100 and 400 meters in the T47 category, Mohamed Rahali will race in the 1500 meters in the T46 category, Amin Benkirane will participate in the 100 meters and long jump in the T44 category, and Youssef Zakhari will compete in the 100 meters and long jump in the T36 category, while Zakaria Al-Dahram will take part in the shot put event (F33 category) and Zakaria Al-Zuhri in the javelin throw (F44 category).
Hamza Al-Qumiri will also compete in the discus throw and shot put events in the F32 category, Omayma Oubrayem in the discus throw and shot put in the F32 category, Hayat Al-Kar'a in the discus throw and shot put in the F41 category, and Nour Al-Huda Al-Kawi in the discus throw and shot put (F55 category).
Moroccan athletes won six medals (two gold, one silver, and three bronze) during their participation in the 19th edition of the Tunis International Para Athletics Meeting held in June 2025.
It is expected that around 650 male and female athletes representing 64 countries will participate in the 20th edition of the Tunis International Para Athletics Meeting, classified among the major awards, according to the Tunisian National Paralympic Committee.
