The United States achieved a significant victory over Paraguay with a score of 4-1 in their first match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is co-hosted by Canada and Mexico, this Saturday morning in Coordinated Universal Time, as part of Group D, at the "SoFi" Stadium in Los Angeles.
The goals for the American team were scored by Paraguay player Damian Bobadilla, who accidentally scored an own goal in the seventh minute, followed by Folarin Balogun in the 31st and 45+5 minutes, and Giovanni Reyna in the 90+8 minute, while Mauricio scored Paraguay's only goal in the 73rd minute.
