Canada's national team secures a draw against Bosnia.
Canada, the host country for the 2026 World Cup alongside Mexico and the United States, drew against Bosnia and Herzegovina (1-1) in their first match on Friday in Toronto as part of Group B.
In the first of the 13 matches to be held on Canadian soil, the Bosnian team surprised the hosts with a goal from their striker Jovo Lukic, who scored with a header from a corner kick (21).
The Canadians equalized through Kyle Larin (78), earning their first point in World Cup history after six losses in six matches.
