Lola: Winning against Morocco, even by half a goal.
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva confirmed yesterday, Wednesday, that he would be very satisfied if the "Seleção" team won, even by the smallest margin, against their Moroccan counterpart in the match that will take place between them on Saturday evening, as part of the 2026 World Cup.
Lula da Silva, in a light-hearted spirit, spoke about this highly anticipated match, which will be held in New Jersey, as part of the first round of the World Cup jointly organized by the United States, Mexico, and Canada: "Honestly, I expect Brazil to win. I have made mistakes in my predictions in 1982 and 1986, but I want Brazil to win. If they win by one goal or even half a goal, that would be good."
Lula da Silva made this statement following a meeting of the Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development in Brasília.
The Brazilian president's prediction came with caution, but he appeared optimistic about his country's team, which is coached by Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
It is worth noting that the match between the "Seleção" and the "Atlas Lions" will be the strongest match in Group C, which also includes Haiti and Scotland. Morocco will enter this confrontation armed with its achievement of reaching the semifinals in the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar, while Brazil aims to secure its sixth title.
