Wahbi is raising the pace of the national team's preparations.
The Moroccan national football team continues its intensive preparations to face its Brazilian counterpart in the match that will take place next Saturday, as part of the first round of the group stage in the 2026 World Cup.
The "Atlas Lions" held their training sessions today, Wednesday, in two phases, as part of the program set by the technical staff led by national coach Mohamed Wahbi, in preparation for entering the World Cup competitions.
The Moroccan team began its training session with exercises inside the gym, with the participation of all players, except for Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, who was absent due to an injury sustained during the last friendly match against Norway.
The "Lions" completed the training session on the training ground, in an atmosphere characterized by focus and seriousness, where the technical staff concentrated on both the physical and tactical aspects, in addition to testing the readiness of the national players as the opening match approaches and the countdown to the World Cup journey begins.
The Moroccan team will kick off its participation in the 2026 World Cup by facing the Brazilian team on June 13 at the "MetLife" Stadium in New York-New Jersey, before meeting the Scotland team in the second round, and concluding the group stage with a match against the Haiti team.
