Mazagan hosts Paris Saint-Germain Academy.
The "Mazagan" resort, located in the city of El Jadida, announced the hosting of the "Paris Saint-Germain" football academy during the summer season of 2026, as part of a new partnership aimed at providing a comprehensive sports and educational experience for children and youth, combining professional training with the entertainment and relaxation atmosphere offered by the resort.
The resort clarified, in a press release received by Hespress, that this initiative is part of a summer program that will be organized during the upcoming months of July and August, targeting children aged between 5 and 17 years, with the aim of enabling them to benefit from an internationally recognized training methodology under the supervision of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy.
The statement confirmed that this step represents a new phase in the journey of the "Paris Saint-Germain" Academy in Morocco, after establishing its presence in the kingdom over the past years. This partnership is the first of its kind between the academy and a Moroccan hotel institution, providing young players with the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive training experience in an environment that combines sports and entertainment.
In this context, the "Mazagan" resort enhances its sports offerings aimed at children and youth, as it already includes a special football academy, before deciding to elevate its summer programs by benefiting from the expertise of the "Paris Saint-Germain" Academy and its globally recognized methodology in nurturing young talents.
The statement quoted Jacques Claudel, the general manager of the "Mazagan" resort, saying that "this partnership falls within the resort's vision aimed at developing offerings dedicated to families," adding that collaboration with a prestigious international academy will enhance the quality of the football program and the level of coaching, while providing a comprehensive experience for children and youth that combines learning and fun.
For his part, Marco Edlhüsen, the general manager of the "Paris Saint-Germain Morocco" Academy, considered that this first collaboration with a hotel institution in the kingdom reflects the academy's ambition to expand the scope of its training methodology beyond traditional sports centers, emphasizing the aim to transfer the standards and sports values adopted by the academy within a stimulating environment that contributes to the development of young players and hones their skills.
The statement indicated that the summer camp was designed according to a comprehensive vision that takes into account the needs of children and their families; it provides participants with a high-quality sports program, while giving parents the opportunity to benefit from the resort's facilities and its atmosphere dedicated to relaxation, recreation, and entertainment.
