The national team is increasing the pace of preparation for the World Cup.
The Moroccan national football team continues its preparations to face the Brazilian national team in a match that will take place next Saturday as part of the first round of the group stage in the 2026 World Cup.
The "Atlas Lions" conducted training today in two phases, as part of the program outlined by the technical staff led by national coach Mohamed Wahbi, in preparation for entering the World Cup competitions.
The first session, held in the sports hall, saw the participation of all players, including Noussair Mazraoui, while Abdessamad Ezzalzouli was absent due to an injury sustained during the recent friendly match against Norway, which threatens his participation in the national team's first matches in the World Cup.
The Moroccan team held a second session on the training ground, where the technical staff focused on physical and technical aspects, as well as testing the readiness of the national players with the opening match approaching and the countdown to the World Cup journey beginning.
The Moroccan national team will kick off its participation in the 2026 World Cup against the Brazilian national team on June 13 at the "MetLife" Stadium in New York-New Jersey, before facing the Scotland team in the second round, and then concluding the group stage matches against the Haiti team.
