Al-Ahly is close to finalizing the deal for Amouta.
"Hasport" learned from a reliable source that the national coach Hussein Ammouta has agreed to all the conditions set by Al Ahly's management to take over the team's coaching during the upcoming phase, making him the closest name to lead the technical staff of the club, succeeding the Danish coach Jes Torup.
The same source clarified that Ammouta showed great flexibility during the negotiation sessions and gave his approval to the sports and financial project proposed by Al Ahly's officials, awaiting the final decision on the matter in the coming days.
The same source added that Al Ahly's management continues to study all the options available before making an official decision, although Ammouta remains, for now, the only coach who has given his full approval to the club's conditions.
The Moroccan coach is highly regarded within the corridors of Al Ahly, considering his successful continental experience, having marked a distinguished path in several coaching positions, both at the club level and with Arab national teams.
It is worth mentioning that Wydad Athletic Club attempted to sign Ammouta last March, but the negotiations did not proceed well.
