The Moroccan climber Nawal Safnada confirmed that the reception she received from King Mohammed VI today, Monday, in Rabat, is a great source of pride to continue representing Morocco in the best way possible.

Safnada stated in a press statement following this royal reception: “It is a great honor and unparalleled happiness. It is a dream for me to be received by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.”

The Moroccan climber, who was awarded the National Merit Medal of Officer rank by the king, expressed her deep gratitude for the encouragement and congratulations from King Mohammed VI, adding: “I hope to achieve another goal that is not just about climbing a peak, but about inspiring young people to achieve their dreams and embodying a sense of perseverance and hard work.”
