The climber Tazi is targeting a new summit.
Fifteen-year-old Youssef El Tazi is preparing for an adventure to climb the summit of Kang Yatze 2 in India, which reaches an altitude of 6,250 meters, on July 23rd.
El Tazi, who is classified as the youngest Moroccan climber, hopes to add this summit to his list of mountain achievements, having successfully climbed several prominent peaks, including Ararat in Turkey (5,165 meters), Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (5,895 meters), and Elbrus in Russia (5,642 meters).
El Tazi confirmed in a video that "this challenge is the first of its kind; it involves a mountain summit that exceeds an altitude of 6,000 meters," adding: "I am expected to face factors such as wind, cold, and lack of oxygen, where temperatures can drop to 25 degrees below zero."
He also mentioned that his ambition is to become "the youngest African climber" to reach this height, emphasizing that "the road to the summit of Everest is still long."
