The Belgian national football team achieved a significant victory over their Tunisian counterpart with a score of 5-0 today, Saturday, in an international friendly match as part of both teams' preparations for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
The Belgian team took the lead in the 28th minute through Leandro Trossard, and then his teammate Charles De Ketelaere added the second goal in the 53rd minute.
In the 65th minute, veteran Kevin De Bruyne scored the third goal for the Belgian team, while Dodi Lukebakio added the fourth goal in the 85th minute.
Two minutes later, Nicolas Raskin capped off the five-goal tally for the Belgian team, while the Tunisian team was affected by a numerical disadvantage after their player Ismail Gharbi was sent off in the 62nd minute.
This friendly match was the last for both teams before entering the tournament, where the Tunisian team will begin their campaign against Sweden on June 15 in the first round of Group F, which also includes the Netherlands and Japan.
