The Royal Moroccan Football Federation held its extraordinary general assembly today, Friday, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, followed immediately by its ordinary general assembly, with the presence of various components of national football.
The proceedings of the extraordinary general assembly began with the confirmation of the legal quorum, before the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, took the floor, affirming that this assembly is part of the ongoing reforms in national football.
The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the special attention he gives to national football and for his continuous follow-up on various related projects and initiatives, emphasizing that this royal attention serves as a source of support and motivation for all stakeholders in the sector.
He also praised the efforts made by various stakeholders in national football, including clubs, leagues, managers, and technical and administrative staff, valuing the sacrifices they make to advance the development of Moroccan football. He confirmed that national football has become a comprehensive development project led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation stressed the need to continue reforms aimed at placing Moroccan football among the ranks of global football, especially as the Kingdom of Morocco approaches the final stages of preparation to host the 2030 World Cup.
Following that, the extraordinary general assembly unanimously approved the proposed amendments to some articles of the statutes of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, in line with the new dynamics for developing the national football system, before it transitioned to an ordinary general assembly, during which the literary and financial reports were approved.
At the conclusion of the general assembly proceedings, a message of loyalty was read out, addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, expressing the highest expressions of loyalty and fidelity, and the commitment of the national football family to the glorious Alawite throne.
